Like many of the entry-level Marlborough Pinots this vintage, Villa Maria's 2018 Private Bin Pinot Noir comes across as attractively ripe but delicate. Pretty cherry and raspberry notes appear on the nose, while the palate is light-bodied and supple, and the flavors vanish quickly on the finish. Drink it young.
