A beauty, the 2006 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard exhibits sweet notes of raspberries, spring flowers, cherries, and strawberries. This subtly smoky/forest floor-flavored Pinot is made in a medium-bodied, feminine, elegant style. Enjoy this delicate but authoritative effort over the next 4-5 years. These wines were a remarkable discovery. Anderson Valley is becoming one of the “hot” new cool climate sources of not only white varietals, but also increasing quantities of high quality Pinot Noir.
