. The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa (86% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Malbec, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot) was aged 20 months in French oak, of which 37% was new. This is a structured, tannic, rather austere style of wine that mimics a fine Bordeaux. It is deep ruby/purple and offers notes of graphite, black and red currants, licorice and tobacco leaf. It is medium-bodied, structured, and best cellared for several years and drunk over the following 15 years.
