The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon contains a small amount of Petit Verdot in its blend with the fruit sourced from the Pepper Bridge and Seven Hills Vineyards. It was aged in 58% new French oak for 22 months. It sports an excellent bouquet of pain grille, pencil lead, violets, Asian spices, black currant, and blackberry. This is followed by a structured, savory, smooth-textured, concentrated wine with good balance and length and enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years. It will deliver prime drinking from 2013 to 2023. Reininger Winery opened its doors in 1997. The wines are made by Chuck Reininger with lots of family help with winery operations.Tel.
