The 2016 Ars Nova was produced with 40% Tempranillo, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot that matured in 300-liter oak barrels for nine months after which it was blended and kept in concrete for two years. It has 14.5% alcohol and some development, showing its age, with more tertiary aromas, hints of brick dust, berries and herbs. The palate reveals some rusticity and dusty tannins. 26,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2023.
