For years this was Orlando’s top Shiraz, but it has been rebranded Jacob’s Creek for its greater name recognition. It’s still a very fine wine, a big step up from what you might expect under the JC label, featuring oaky notes of toasted coconut, caramel and vanilla layered over blueberry and plum fruit. It’s mouthfilling, with velvety-textured tannins and mouthwatering acids. Drink now–2015. Imported by Pernod Ricard, USA.——J.C.(6/1/2007)—— 91
