Medium green-yellow. Aromas and flavors of ripe yellow apple with pleasant toasted hazelnut, vanilla and caramel. Fairly full-bodied at 13.5% alcohol, but with a juicy quality thanks to its vibrant acidity. Abundant apple flavor is complicated by hints of coconut and dill. More complex on the finish, where a pronounced minerality extends the grapefruit and spring meadow herb flavors. This marvelously balanced wine offers excellent aging potential. Drink 2009 to 2016.
