The 2019 Pinot Noir Southeast Block, from Pommard clone vines planted in 1979, has a powerful expression this vintage. Medium ruby-purple, it's scented of wild blackberries, cranberries, black tea leaves and licorice with notes of tangerine and Angostura bitters. Medium-bodied, it has an abundance of silty tannins, ripe, spicy fruit and a very long, layered finish.
