A 200-case blend of equal parts Sangiovese and Syrah, the stunning 2004 La Croce was aged in large 500 liter French puncheons (75% new). Spicy, sweet notes of new saddle leather, white chocolate, mocha, black cherries, and cassis are accompanied by a wine with lavish fruit and intensity, and no hint of wood.
