(14.5% alcohol): Smoky bouquet of honeydew melon, pineapple and vanillin oak. Surprisingly fleshy and almost peppery on the palate, with an impression of sweetness leavened by an herbal element. Sumptuous on the finish. Grown on sandy soils, the Goldjoch is fermented and matured in large casks that have given this Grüner Veltliner a resemblance to Chardonnay.
