This winery, which is owned by Kendall-Jackson, has established a good track record for lavishly oaked, lusty, rich Chardonnays. Their Pinot Noir program began with some difficulty, but appears to have improved significantly over the last few vintages. Current releases include the 1991 Chardonnay-Katherine's Vineyard, a lush, richly fruity, boldly flavored wine that offers abundant honeyed, pineapple fruit allied to smoky, toasty new oak.
