The 2014 Soave Classico Monte Alto is a rich and sophisticated white wine with a good level of complexity. The bouquet is not banal by any stretch. In fact, it offers an interesting medley of passion fruit aromas with toasted almond and crushed granite rock. The wine feels weightless and buoyant on the palate, but don't underestimate the long persistence and enriched flavors it offers on the finish. This Soave Classico should continue to evolve over the next five years. It is aged partially in barrique and partially in botte grande.

A creamy white enlivened by lip-smacking acidity, this is abundantly aromatic, with star anise, verbena and paraffin notes accenting flavors of peach yogurt, salted almond and lemon curd.
