Lanciola’s 2003 Chianti Colli Fiorentini is a fresh, vinous effort and offers plenty of attractive, spiced black cherry fruit, with a plump, engaging personality and lovely overall balance. It is a terrific value, and should provide its best drinking within the next two to three years. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2010. At press time the estate was in the process of changing importer.
