The medium to dark ruby-colored 1999 Maranges La Fussiere offers freshly cracked black pepper and spicy plum aromas. Brambleberries and black raspberries can be found in this somewhat rustic yet exuberantly flavorful wine. It is packed with dark, lush fruit flavors and will be appealing if drunk over the next 3-4 years.
