The 2008 Chardonnay Lot 5 Wild Yeasts was barrel-fermented in 30% new French oak after which it spent another 10 months in barrel. Light gold-colored, it offers toasty, slightly tropical aromas. Rounder and creamier than the Falaris Hill, it shows off excellent minerality, lively acidity, and a lengthy finish. It can be enjoyed over the next 4-5 years.
