From 40- to 70-year-old Tinto Fino vines from Quintana del Pidio, the 2011 El Quintanal has a slightly reduced, tinny bouquet. The palate is very compact and primal with chunky, brazen tannins on the finish neatly complemented by some juicy black fruit.
