The 2014 Bouscaut has a pure, feminine, floral bouquet that is charming, the oak neatly integrated with satisfying fruit intensity. The palate is medium-bodied with supple ripe red berry fruit, the oak quite present but in sync with the fruit profile whilst the finish has splendid harmony and persistence. Probably earlier drinking that some of its peers, nevertheless this is a delicious Pessac-Leognan that might surprise and evolve well in bottle. This comes recommended.
