The name “renegade” refers to the wild yeasts that were allowed to start fermentation. The wine is very similar to Husch’s regular Sauvignon Blanc, maybe a little higher in acids, a touch purer and more elegant, but pretty much the same and, like it, is a really good dry white wine.——S.H.(2/1/2007)—— 87
