The 2009 Cabernet Franc Katherine Corkrum is made from 85% Cabernet Franc, 10% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot that was aged 18 months in 40% new French oak. Medium to full-bodied, elegant and silky, it delivers knockout aromatics of sappy herbs, spring flowers, leather and graphite, as well as a beautiful core of raspberry and cherry-centric fruit. Complex, polished and perfectly balanced, it will continue to shine through 2019, if not longer. Drink now-2019.
Located in the northern part of the Walla Walla Valley and producing wines completely from their estate vineyard, Spring Valley Vineyard falls under the Ste. Michelle umbrella and the wines are made by Serge Laville. Featuring polished, elegant profiles that have solid richness, these wines will all have long drink windows.
