The 2017 Dolcetto d'Alba Le Rose offers a sweet and floral bouquet with rose hip, dried fig and cherry pie. The Dolcetto grape loves a hot vintage, and that's exactly what it got in 2017. Winemaking is simple (the wine completes malolactic fermentation in oak) in order to preserve that succulent and rich quality of fruit. This wine puts the dolce (or "sweet") in Dolcetto. Some 8,600 bottles were made.
