The 1995 Zinfandel Sonoma (14.5% alcohol) is a broadly-flavored, mouthfilling, savory wine with Zinfandel's tell-tale, earthy, peppery, sweet, jammy black-cherry-scented aromas, medium to full body, an expansive, chewy texture, and a lusty, high alcohol finish. Already delicious, it should continue to drink well for 6 years. Kudos to proprietor Joel Peterson for producing a bevy of Zinfandels that are particularly brilliant in view of the overall quality level that has emerged from this vintage. Tel. (707) 938-1960
