The 2005 Tuttorosso is 65% Sangiovese, 24% Syrah, and 11% Mourvedre. Dark ruby-colored, it exhibits aromas of cedar, earth notes, cherry, and black raspberry. Supple, smooth, and easygoing on the palate, it has enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years. Drink it through 2015.
Veteran winemaker Brian Carter began his personal project in 2006 in the Woodinville Wine Village. A believer in the art of blending, Carter makes one white and four red blends in each vintage as well as one cuvee containing declassified lots.
