The dark ruby/purple-colored 1997 Marzieno Ravenna Rosso (a 62% Sangiovese/38% Cabernet Sauvignon blend) is a ripe, wonderfully-textured effort with low acidity, a plush, Pomerol-like texture, toasty new oak in the nose, and abundant black fruits.
