One of the very few quality whites produced with the Airén grape from La Mancha, the 2018 Ercavio Blanco was cropped from a very good vintage for Más Que Vinos. The wine was produced with the fruit of 14 hectares of old vines that are farmed organically, and it was bottled unoaked after a few months with the lees. It was a generous crop, but they managed to get healthy grapes. It's still very young and a little reductive over the core of white flowers, fennel and herbs, with a lemony note of freshness. It's lively and fresh. They picked a little earlier to achieve a fresher wine. The freshness makes it very good for food. 40,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2018.
