The ruby-colored 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon Canoe Ridge Estate Vineyard is intense, complex, and powerful. Sporting lots of alcohol (the label lists it as being 13.5%), this wine has overt blackberry aromas. Lovely layers of cassis, black cherries, and blackberries are found in its velvety textured, medium-to-full-bodied personality. This offering will be at its peak between 2002 and 2007+.
