The top cuvee, the 2010 Cote Rotie La Fleur de Montlys is outrageously complex with sumptuous notes of flowers, raspberries, pen ink, graphite, licorice and Christmas fruitcake, a terrific texture, a full-bodied mouthfeel and not a hard edge to be found. This is the haut couture of Cote Rotie. It should drink beautifully for 10-15 years.
The finest wines I have tasted from this estate in many years, these two 2010s are classic examples of Cote Roties.
