The 2008 Chianti Colli Senesi bursts from the glass with an array of dark fruit, minerals and leather. This is an especially dark, vibrant Chianti that could use another few months in bottle to come together, although it is already pretty elegant. The Chianti Colli Senesi is 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo aged in cask. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2013.
