The Sauvignon Blanc has been renamed to 2015 Orchidea Cuvée, a barrel-aged white from 15-year-old vines on clay and limestone slopes. It fermented at different temperatures and with different yeasts, and the six resulting wines blended and matured in French oak and acacia wood barrels for eight months with lees and battonage during the first month. It's a fresh and fruit-driven version, with subtle aromas of white flowers and fruit, with a medium-bodied palate with enough acidity and straightforward flavors. Not an obvious Sauvignon Blanc. 9,000 bottles were filled in January 2017.
