The 2001 Manero is made from the estate’s finest Sangiovese and is a 100% varietal wine. An inky, impenetrable ruby, its potent aromas of plums, raspberry liqueur, and vanilla detonate with maximum impact and sweetness on the nose while the palate is overwhelmed by the rich and solid flavors and a dense, plushy, ripe texture with ample smoky, mineral, and red fruit notes.
