This wine is dense, with deep ruby/purple colors, and gorgeous black currant fruit intermixed with cedar, tobacco, dried herbs, and earth. The 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon The Copper Mine offers notes of licorice and prunes in its full-bodied, concentrated, moderately tannic personality. It should be at its best between 2001-2015.
