The 2007 Pinot Noir Neyer Vineyard is sourced from a Dundee Hills site. Medium ruby-colored, the nose offers up smoke, cinnamon, clove, cherry, and cranberry. Medium-bodied, silky-textured, and elegant, it reveals plenty of savory red fruit, ripe tannin, and moderate length. Drink this tasty effort over the next 5-7 years.
Lemelson Vineyards’ 2007 Pinot Noirs are not quite up to the level achieved in the less challenging 2006 vintage. Nevertheless, it is a solid set of wines.
