The 2008 Merlot contains 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon in its blend. The fruit was sourced from 7 vineyards in 5 AVAs with aging in 50% new, mostly American oak. Notes of cedar, spice box, incense, violets, cassis, and blackberry compose the bouquet of this smooth-textured, savory, ripe Merlot.
