The 2015 Edición Limitada is a barrel selection of Tempranillo that fermented in oak vats and aged in oak for 14 months—so, legally a crianza—but it aged in French oak, so it has a more modern profile. The barrels that do not make it into the blend of Mirto go to this bottling. There's good fruit, ripe without excess and with good weight; in fact, it seems to have taken the oak quite well, integrating the aromas and flavors. It has a tasty palate, with fine tannins and some spicy flavors in the finish. 255,000 bottles and 13,000 magnums produced.
