I tasted a brilliant line-up of wines from Andrew Will. Despite a tannic, hard 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon that I could not recommend, Andrew Will has turned in three superlative red wine performances. The 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon Pepper Bridge displays a thick-looking, opaque plum color, and a moderately intense nose of licorice, blackcurrants, earth, and oak. Rich and layered, with this estate's hallmark purity well-displayed, this fleshy, structured, medium to full-bodied, classically wrought Cabernet is approachable, but it needs another 1-3 years of cellaring; it should last for 12-15 years. The Andrew Will offerings are exceptionally well-made. Tel. (206) 463-3290
