The dark ruby-colored 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Pepper Bridge has a compelling garrigue (the smell of Provence's sun-roasted wild herbs) and black cherry-scented nose. It is a fat, thick, luscious, superbly focused, and powerful wine. Camarda's deft use of new oak is to be admired. This Merlot's flavor profile is so crammed with cherries and blueberries that the touch of toast goes virtually unnoticed. It is more structured, complex, and longer than the Boushey, but shares that wine's extraordinarily supple tannins. Projected maturity: 1999-2009.Note: The Andrew Will Winery is located in a residential neighborhood on Vashon Island. An ordinance prevents Anne and Chris Camarda from receiving visitors to the winery as it would impose on their neighbor's privacy.Tel. (206) 463-3290.
