Both the 2011 Merlot and 2011 Cabernet Franc are pleasant efforts. The narrowly constructed Merlot offers up notes of white chocolate and berry fruit, and a somewhat clipped finish. The Cabernet Franc’s dark ruby color is accompanied by some leafy, vegetative notes intermixed with plum, Asian spice, raspberry and blueberry characteristics.
