In 1992, Willi Haag has fashioned forward, soft, lovely, concentrated Rieslings. Most of the offerings are identified by specific fuder numbers. There are four Auslese offerings, three with fuder numbers and one with the designation Long Gold Capsule, an auction wine that is available at a frightfully high price. All of these are outstanding efforts.The Long Gold Capsule Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr is very sweet, with tremendous ripeness, that wonderful cherry/floral fruitiness, and a stunningly long finish. Given its price, it is only negligibly better than the $31 Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese #10.
