A beautiful, deeply expressive wine, the 2010 Roussanne James Berry Vineyard captures the pure pedigree of this great Paso Robles site. There is a richness and lushness of the fruit that is quite appealing yet all the elements are very nicely balanced. Sweet floral, honeyed notes add richness on the finish. Proprietor Cris Cherry aged the Roussanne in a combination of oak and concrete. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015. Villa Creek is one of my favorite wineries in Paso Robles.
