Here's a wine I have not reviewed in a while. Packaged in a screw-cap bottle, the Franz Haas 2020 Pinot Grigio shows a brilliant and luminous appearance in the glass. To the nose, the wine unfolds to more stone fruit compared to your standard, commercial Grigio. This wine is slightly more drawn out in term of its fruit delivery, and it shows drying white mineral notes of crushed stone on the close. It's an easy choice for sushi night. Average annual production is from 40,000 to 45,000 bottles.
