The gobsmacking white 2015 Muradella, first produced in 2009, is pure Treixadura. Grapes from a 17-year-old plot on clay and iron were fermented in stainless steel, while selected grapes from older vineyards fermented in 600-liter oak foudres. The grapes were then blended and kept in stainless steel with lees until bottling. It's still ultra young and austere, a baby but without any baby fat. It's harmonious, sharp and intense, with pungent flavors where the taste profile and the texture is around minerality. The 2010 is now ready for prime drinking, so this should have a long and positive evolution in bottle. 2,600 bottles were filled in May 2017.
