Low yields of 21 hectoliters per hectare have resulted in a deep ruby/purple-hued St.-Emilion that possesses notes of black cherry liqueur, licorice, smoke, and truffles, good richness, medium body, an excellent texture, and a fine finish. With a bit more complexity, it would have merited a higher rating. Consume it over the next 10-12 years.

This is very well done, with wonderfully integrated, silky tannins and a berry, cherry, lightly mineral character. Full and very fine. Drink or hold.
