The 1997 Brunello di Montalcino Corte Pavone is beautifully embellished with dried fruit, forest berry and creme de cassis. There is a noticeable oak element of spice and tobacco at the back, but the wine remains an elegant and feminine expression nonetheless. Its appearance is stunning: A brilliant ruby color shows highlights of orange and amber. Corte Pavone is not overdone in any way. Drink: 2014-2024.
