The Chateau Louis 2014, which used to be called Rol de Fombrauge, is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. It has a taut, quite tensile bouquet that is fresh and focused–good start. The palate is sweet and ripe on the entry with touches of mint chocolate toward the finish that feels a little indulgent, but will appeal to those that appreciate modern-style Saint Emilion.
