Very deep garnet in color, the 2006 Terra Rossa Cabernet Sauvignon gives slowly evolving notes of tobacco leaf, leather and sandalwood over a core of warm mulberries, blackberry preserves and kirsch with some earthy nuances of tar and damp loam. Very full bodied and generously fruited in the mouth, it offers mouth-filling mature fruit flavors with a good backbone of crisp acidity to enliven and medium to firm chewy tannins.
