In 1988 this wine is smooth and supple, and should be consumed over its first 4-5 years. This small producer located on the back streets of Vosne-Romanee near the cellars of the Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, is probably best known for its famous La Romanee. They produce this wine for the Belair family and then turn it over to the huge Beaune negociant, Bouchard Pere et Fils. Their own wines include an elegant, stylish Vosne-Romanee.
