Exhibiting a medium-to-dark ruby color, the Savigny-Les-Beaune Les Serpentieres was crafted from vines planted in 1959. Richly aromatic, it offers minerals, black cherries, and blackberries on the nose and a lush, fat, rich, and silky-textured medium-to-full body. This well-delineated, structured, and concentrated wine is extracted, concentrated, and flavorful. Cassis, blueberries, and brambleberries intermingled with iron and gravel are found in its flavor profile and long supple finish. Anticipated maturity: 1999-2005.
