The 2000 Meursault Perrieres, which was harvested in two waves, on the 20th of September and then on the 28th (therefore, 9 and 17 days after Burgundians were allowed to harvest) sports a mouth-watering spice and smoked bacon-laced nose as well as a light to medium-bodied character. This vinous wine coats the palate with loads of stones and gravel. It is highly focused, lace-like, and detail-oriented. Projected maturity: 2003-2009.
