Harvested at 1.6 tons per acre, the 1999 Pinot Gris Shea Vineyard Vendange Tardive has mineral, spice, candied berry, and sweet tea aromas. This rich, opulent, dense, and palate-coating wine was aged 80% in tank and 20% in oak barrels. It boasts white peach and hazelnut flavors in its deep, medium-bodied personality. Unlike most Oregon whites, this one will require cellaring to fully express itself. Projected maturity: 2004-2010. Tel. (503) 378-1526
