The 2005 Barolo Parej is fresh and vibrant in its black cherries, violets, minerals, spices and vanilla. The wine literally sparkles on the palate with crystalline definition and a long, refined finish. This mid-weight Barolo could use another year or two in the cellar, but it is already quite harmonious in its overall balance. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2020.
