The medium ruby-colored 1999 Beaune Toussaints has zesty, spicy, blackberry aromas. This broad, plump, deep wine is medium-bodied and loaded with fruit. Candied cherries and assorted spices can be found throughout its character. It has a firm structure, but appears to possess the requisite fruit. Projected maturity: now-2007.
